Horimiya

Horimiya is a masterpiece of the "Slice of Life" and Romance genres, celebrated for its realistic portrayal of teenage relationships and the hidden sides people keep from the world. Written by HERO and illustrated by Daisuke Hagiwara, it avoids typical shojo clichés.

The story revolves around two high school students: Kyoko Hori, who appears to be a popular social butterfly but is actually a hardworking homebody, and Izumi Miyamura, who looks like a gloomy "otaku" but is actually a gentle soul with multiple piercings and tattoos.
