My Hero Academia is a Japanese manga series created by Kōhei Horikoshi. It ran from July 2014 to August 2024 in Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump, and it has been compiled into 42 tankōbon volumes. The plot follows Izuku Midoriya in a world where superpowers known as "Quirks" have become the norm.

Izuku Midoriya is unique in that he was born without a Quirk, but nevertheless dreams of becoming a hero.

In a world where 80% of the population possesses extraordinary abilities known as "Quirks," Izuku Midoriya is a rare exception born without powers. Despite this, his unwavering determination to become a legendary hero catches the attention of All Might, the world's greatest protector, who passes his own unique Quirk down to the young boy.
